Dear Friends,

Yesterday, I decided to say Yes to an opportunity to help beauty and creativity continue to flourish and am writing to share it with you.

The Southern California Conservatory of Music is the only place in the country that offers a braille music curriculum to teach musicianship of the highest caliber to blind and visually impaired students. It houses one of the largest braille music libraries in the world, and it also provides outreach programs to both blind and sighted children in the public schools who would otherwise receive no formal music education. I treasure the time I spent at the conservatory and am honored to participate in helping this great labor of love to continue.

Without our urgent support in this campaign, the Southern California Conservatory of Music will have to close its doors and discontinue its programs.

Through my own journey as a blind musician, I have learned that no dream is out of reach and no height too overwhelming for one open to the power of possibility. Will you join me in supporting this incredible gift to our community? Will you forward this email to your friends as well?

Please follow the links in this email for a simple way to contribute and to view performances by some of the students. Only $25 and a couple minutes of your time can help save this community treasure!

Warm regards,

Jessica Bachicha, soprano and SCCM alumna
