The Southern California Conservatory of Music operates on a quarterly system of 12 weeks and has the following academic divisions: · Preparatory Division: SCCM's Preparatory Division is designed to prepare the beginning student for the Conservatory Division (includes all ages). Students may transfer to the Conservatory Division by conforming to admission requirements (see catalog). · Conservatory Division: SCCM's Conservatory Division consists of grades 10 thru 12 within three levels: Performance, written examination, and jury requirements applicable for students up to age 18. Placement auditions are required. · Adult Studies: SCCM's Adult Studies Division is designed for adult students pursuing specialized musical skills. PRIVATE INSTRUCTION All Divisions Instrumental · Brass trumpet, French horn, trombone · Guitar rock, classic, commercial · Piano and Organ · Strings violin, viola, cello, harp · Woodwinds flute, clarinet, oboe, bassoon, saxophone (note: other instruments available upon request)
